Effective Date: August 28, 2026

This Privacy Policy and Terms of Use (the “Policy”) governs your use of ksnn.net (the “Site”), operated by Kids Sports News Network, LLC, doing business as KSNN (“KSNN,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). KSNN is a California limited liability company providing multimedia youth-sports content concerning athletes and events nationwide. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to the Terms of Use below. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

01Information We Collect

We may collect information you provide through forms, registrations, newsletter sign-ups, customer-support contacts, content submissions, transactions, and other Site interactions, including names, email addresses, telephone numbers, physical addresses, account credentials, payment-related information handled by payment providers, IP addresses, device identifiers, approximate geolocation, and user-generated content. We may also receive information from parents or guardians about youth athletes under 18. Please do not submit a child’s information unless you are the child’s parent or lawful guardian and are authorized to do so.

The Site is operated in the United States and intended for U.S. users. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in the United States.

02How We Use Information

We use personal information to provide and improve the Site and services; create and administer accounts; process orders or submissions; communicate with users; provide customer support; send requested newsletters and marketing communications; personalize content; perform analytics; prevent fraud and misuse; protect the Site; comply with law; and carry out other purposes disclosed at collection or permitted by law. Where applicable, we may use personal information for targeted advertising or personalization. You may opt out of such uses as described below.

03Cookies and Similar Technologies

We and our service providers may use essential, functional, analytics, advertising, cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember preferences, measure use, personalize content, and support communications. You may control cookies through your browser and any preference tools we provide; disabling certain technologies may impair Site functionality. Where required by law, we will request consent before using non-essential technologies.

04Disclosure and Service Providers

We may disclose information to hosting and cloud providers, WordPress and database providers, CRM and communications providers, analytics providers, payment processors, professional advisers, authorities when required, and other vendors that help operate the Site. Our hosting provider may receive IP-address and geolocation information, and our CRM may collect information directly through the Site. These providers may process information under their own terms and privacy notices and may retain backups according to their policies. The Site may contain links to third-party websites. KSNN is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites.

05Sale and Sharing

KSNN does not sell personal information for monetary consideration. We will not knowingly share personal information of children under 13 for cross-context behavioral advertising without legally required parental consent. You may contact us to opt out of sale or sharing, and you may use any legally recognized opt-out preference signal that we are required to honor.

06California Privacy Rights

Subject to applicable law, California residents may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information; information about our collection, use, and disclosure; and limitation of certain uses of sensitive personal information. California residents may also opt out of sale or sharing, if applicable, and will not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising rights.

Submit a request by email to newsdesk@ksnn.net. We may verify identity, request additional information, and use an authorized agent only when legally permitted. We generally respond within the time required by California law.

07Retention and Security

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide services and satisfy business, legal, contractual, dispute-resolution, and security requirements. Information may be stored in third-party hosting and cloud environments, the Site’s WordPress database, and integrated form, analytics, email, or payment systems. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no system or transmission is completely secure.

08Children’s Privacy

The Site is directed to parents of youth athletes and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent. If you believe a child has provided information without appropriate consent, contact us at newsdesk@ksnn.net; we will take steps required by law, which may include deleting the information. KSNN complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

09User Content

If you submit comments, reviews, photographs, video, audio, text, contest entries, or other material (“User Content”), you represent that you have the necessary rights and permissions, including from depicted persons and, where applicable, a parent or guardian. You grant KSNN and its designees a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, perpetual license to use, reproduce, transmit, publish, display, distribute, edit, adapt, create derivative works from, and otherwise exploit User Content in any media for advertising, marketing, editorial, and promotional purposes, with credit where feasible. KSNN may refuse, remove, or modify User Content at any time. Notwithstanding the foregoing license, KSNN may remove or limit use of User Content upon a verified request from a parent or guardian where required by law or necessary to protect a minor’s privacy.

10Prohibited Conduct

You may not use the Site to bully, harass, threaten, defame, discriminate, deceive, commit fraud, violate another person’s rights, upload dangerous or illegal activity, hate speech, explicit or obscene material, or content that is unsafe, inappropriate, noncompliant, AI-generated, AI-assisted, AI-enhanced, or AI-altered content in contexts where KSNN has expressly prohibited such submissions, including contest entries or editorial contributions; scrape or data-mine the Site; reverse engineer it; interfere with its operation; distribute malware; impersonate another person; or reproduce KSNN content without authorization.

11Intellectual Property

The Site, including its text, graphics, branding, videos, compilations, software, and other content, is owned by KSNN or its licensors and is protected by applicable law. Except for the limited right to access the Site for personal, noncommercial use, no rights are granted. You may not copy, modify, publish, distribute, sell, or exploit Site content without KSNN’s prior written permission.

12Copyright Complaints

To request removal of allegedly infringing material, send KSNN’s designated copyright contact a written notice identifying the copyrighted work, the allegedly infringing material and its location, your contact information, a good-faith statement, an accuracy and authority statement under penalty of perjury, and your signature. Notices should be sent to newsdesk@ksnn.net. We may remove material and restrict repeat infringers as appropriate.

13Disclaimers

The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, KSNN disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, accuracy, availability, and security. Youth-sports content is informational and is not medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice. You are responsible for decisions made using Site content. KSNN does not guarantee the accuracy of schedules, statistics, rankings, or other sports-related information.

14Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, KSNN and its owners, officers, employees, affiliates, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to the Site or this Policy. KSNN’s aggregate liability will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid KSNN for the applicable service during the six months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

15Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless KSNN and its affiliates, personnel, licensors, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from your User Content, your breach of this Policy, your violation of law or another person’s rights, or your misuse of the Site.

16Termination and Changes

KSNN may suspend or terminate access, remove User Content, or discontinue any portion of the Site at any time, including for suspected violations of this Policy. Sections concerning User Content licenses, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, indemnification, disputes, and general provisions survive termination. We may update this Policy by posting a revised version with a new effective date; continued use after posting constitutes acceptance.

17Governing Law and Disputes

California law governs this Policy, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from the Site or this Policy shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue there, except that either party may seek emergency injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.

18General Terms

This Policy is the entire agreement concerning the Site and supersedes prior applicable statements. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will remain effective. KSNN’s failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign your rights under this Policy without KSNN’s written consent; KSNN may assign this Policy in connection with a reorganization, merger, or sale. Electronic notices and records are effective. Headings are for convenience only.
